TumbleGuard is a soft, wearable comfort layer made to cushion bub's everyday backward tumbles. It is not a helmet, a medical device, or a guarantee against injury — and it always works alongside your supervision, never instead of it.

What it does and what it doesn't

• It softens everyday backward tumbles onto the back of the head and upper back.
• It does not cushion the sides or front of the head, and it does not protect against falls from height, down stairs, off furniture, or any serious or high-impact fall.
• It is not a medical device and makes no claim to prevent injury, concussion, or any medical condition.

Always supervise

• Keep baby-proofing your home as normal, gate the stairs, pad sharp corners, and move hazards out of reach.
• Falls are a normal part of learning to crawl and walk. TumbleGuard can soften an everyday backward bump; it cannot prevent every fall.

Age, size and fit

• Suitable for approximately 6–36 months — for babies who can support their own head and are crawling, pulling up, cruising or walking.
• Adjust the shoulder and chest straps so it sits snugly and comfortably over the back of the head and upper back without slipping.
• Check the fit each time before use, and loosen the straps as bub grows.

Never use during sleep

• TumbleGuard is not a pillow and must never be worn while bub is sleeping, lying down, or napping — in a cot, bassinet, pram, or anywhere else.
• Follow safe-sleep advice: baby on their back, in a clear cot with nothing soft or loose around them (see Red Nose, rednose.org.au).

When to take it off

Remove TumbleGuard for:

• Sleeping or lying down
• Car seats and prams — it can stop the harness fitting correctly and safely
• High chairs and any other harnessed seat
• Bath time and water — it is not a flotation device and gives no protection in water

A note on the straps

• loose or harnessed straps can be a strangulation hazard if misused.

• Don't attach TumbleGuard to cots, prams, or any other product, and don't modify the straps or padding.

Care and upkeep

• Wash according to the care label, and let it dry fully before the next use.
• Check it regularly for wear, loose stitching, or damage, stop using it if it's damaged.
• Keep it away from open flame and direct heat.
